How to obtain your PD (Pupillary Distance)
How to obtain your PD (Pupillary Distance)

Your PD (Pupillary Distance) is the distance between the center of your pupils (center black part of your eye).  All you need is a ruler with mm (metric) measurement to take this reading.  You can obtain this measurement from your eyecare professional or you can follow the directions below:

1.   Hold the ruler with markings facing away from you.  The ruler should be at the height of your lower lid and should not obstruct the pupils.
2.   Have a friend hold a camera in front of you 16 inches away and you look directly at the camera.
3.   Email a copy of your picture to [email protected] along with your name and phone number.  Our licensed opticians will review your pd and contact with any questions.
